Welcome to Heartful Rootz Community Wellness Center Build!

At Heartful Rootz, we believe in creating a nurturing space for everyone—including local BIPGM and LGBTQIATS communities. Our shared center is designed for connection, healing, and growth, where creatives, non-profits and organizers can utilize our facilities for team building, wellness gatherings, and community-supporting initiatives.

Join us in cultivating our garden filled with herbs, food trees, and a communal kitchen that supports our CSA delivery service, ensuring our community is well-fed and taken care of. Your membership today not only grants you access to member-only access, events and resources but also places you at the heart of our vision. As we work toward purchasing the land to build this much-needed center, early members will receive exclusive invitations to be part of our grand opening when the time comes. Together, we can create a thriving, equitable community that cares for one another!

How endowment funds will be used:

Heartful Rootz is a non-profit with reclamation, liberation and justice forming projects.

Our growing queer, trans, two-spirit lead, inclusive Calpulli Mexica group are forming an inclusive and supportive environment to connect, reclaim our culture, share and honor our gifts, form healing and feel safe.

Our collaboration projects of "Plant Family" are growing to form educational information to share widely.

The work we do here is to uplift and create safe space for QT2S-BIPGM creatives, gardeners, and  entrepreneurs. Most folks are working other jobs in order to build their creative dream and form a more consistent income before switching to full time maker or grower. We are forming a community to share knowledge, food, medicine, equipment and resources as well as stories and encouragement. Encouragement and being in this safe space together helps to break the ugliness of oppression. When funds are given, we honor the highest needs first. Some of the biggest barriers are not having access to the tools and space one needs to create.

Goals

Our goals at Heartful Rootz are to raise funds to create a Cultural Arts, Health and Education Center where we can gather, share knowledge, heal, empower and take back our cultures. To build an "Plant Family" app, game, book and video series to share educational knowledge on foods and medicine growing, tending and trading.

Ways to Give

There are many ways to support Heartful Rootz's mission. You can make a donation, become a member, volunteer your time or join our events and gatherings to participate. WE ALSO ACCEPT: donations of land, housing, automobiles, crafting tools, stocks, bonds, bequeathals, etc. Please feel free to contact us to explore donation options. All donations are tax deductible.  Every contribution makes a difference!

Our Programs

From education to healthcare, Heartful Rootz offers a variety of programs to support the community. Learn more about our initiatives and how we make a positive impact on our Program and Mission page.

We are applying to Equity Funding to help in forming sustainability for Queer, Trans and 2 Spirit Indigenous Mexica group in restoring our roots and cultural practices.  Your contributions will help in forming sustainability for BIPGM creatives, growers & entrepreneurs.

Heartful Rootz is teaching nutritional plant based food prepping classes, seed saving, and many other ways to connect with plant family. To help restore our community health, wellness and relationship with nature.

Heartful Rootz is forming a "Plant Family" app, game, book and video to help us connect to  earth and our community. Where we can trade foods and medicine with our neighbors again.

Heartful Rootz is creating a co-op Cultural Center, fundraising towards the collective space for BIPGM creatives to share retail area for their handmade goods. So we no longer have to be let down by people who don't value cultural artists.

We plan to create a safe connective space for the community to grow and thrive.
