What the Program Is
Our apprenticeship introduces participants to the full cycle of herbal wellness work: learning herbs, growing and harvesting plants, making elixirs and self-care products, and understanding how those creations can be gifted, sold, or used to fundraise for community programs.
Who It Serves
Indigenous youth, emerging herbalists, and community members seeking hands-on skills, cultural connection, and pathways into wellness-based entrepreneurship. We center learners who benefit from practical training, mentorship, and a supportive environment where traditional knowledge is honored.
Our Partners
Love Warrior Medicinals, Portals, Queer the Land, and a variety of organizations and businesses providing comprehensive wellness services.
Community Impact
By turning these opportunities into paid apprenticeships, we remove financial barriers so Indigenous youth and emerging herbalists can learn, work, and grow without sacrificing basic needs. As apprentices grow, harvest, and make elixirs, they create tangible healing resources that strengthen food and medicine sovereignty, cultural continuity, and neighborhood-led care.
